New This Year - Over $1000 in Prize Money. One of the largest and most fun independent tennis tournaments in our area returns to Sterling Oaks on February 16 - 23, 2013. The 14th Annual Sneaky Pete's Tennis Championship. Divisions include 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 men's and women's singles and doubles, 6.0, 7.0, 8.0 and 9.0 mixed doubles and NEW OPEN DIVISION for the best pros, high school and college players. Play is limited is two events per person. Entry fee is $40/player for either singles or doubles. $70 for two events/player. First 175 players receive a "dri-fit like" moisture wicking tournament t-shirt. All players receive $10 Sneaky Pete's Restaurant gift certificate, and a seat at the Players Party which includes food, beer.wine or soft drink - a $10 value. Players are encouraged to bring guests to the players party for a nominal $10. Players Party takes place on Saturday afternoon, February 23 - rain or shine. Prizes will be awarded to the winners in each division that afternoon. Play dates/times will be posted here on Friday, February 15 at 3PM. The public is encouraged to attend and spectator admission of free.
